Getting There
Whitworth Hall sits in beautiful parkland near Spennymoor, County Durham, just off the A688.
By Car
From the A1(M): Exit at junction 61 (A688 towards Bishop Auckland). Follow the A688 for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Stanners Lane and Whitworth Hall is at the end.
From Durham City: Take the A690 west, then join the A688 south towards Bishop Auckland. Turn left onto Stanners Lane just before Byers Green.
From Teesside / the A19: Head north on the A19, join the A689 towards Bishop Auckland, then the A688 towards Spennymoor.
Parking - Free on-site parking with plenty of space.

Branch line from Darlington (30 min). Connect at Darlington from the East Coast Main Line.
We would recommend Durham for most guests. Better connections and only 15 minutes to the venue.
Taxis
Please book your taxi in advance, particularly for the end of the night. It is a rural area in December and availability will be limited. We would strongly suggest arranging your return journey before the wedding day so you can relax and enjoy the evening.
